About the role
The Testing Technical Manager is responsible for factory testing issue support and management. You will be located in Haiphong city of Vietnam and majorly focus on CM factories management and technical support to sustain good quality and shipment from multiple CM factories. In this role you will: Based in Vietnam, with required travel between different cities in Vietnam; focus on technical management of Mouse, Keyboard, Camera and video collaboration products. Oversee the overall technical management of Vietnam CM factories, including production process supervision, technical problem resolution, and monitoring of testing & quality issues to ensure efficient and stable factory operations. Conduct regular testing and process audits for each CM factory; monitor CM engineering performance in test equipment setup, calibration, daily maintenance and troubleshooting, and drive supplier engineer teams to develop/implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure test accuracy. Supporting business owner, developing new CM suppliers, capability to on site support equipment trouble shooting, failure analysis and crisis management Lead quality crisis analysis and follow-up; supervise CM product functional failure analysis (FA), conduct in-depth root cause investigations using professional tools, and drive the development of corrective/preventive actions to reduce failure rates. Monitor and drive CM factories to improve yield and product quality; promote testing improvement, automation and digitalization in CM factories, and drive continuous improvement (CIP) for mass production (MP) products. Support the transfer of production line equipment and fixtures from other manufacturing sites to Vietnam; train CM testing engineers and operators for newly transferred products. Coordinate with internal departments (MPM, Engineering, Quality, Planning) and external partners to ensure smooth new product transfer to mass production and support to resolve production technical issues. Submit daily/weekly reports to the management team. Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: Minimum 8-10 years of technical work experience in the electronic manufacturing industry, with at least 2-3 years of technical management experience. Proven experience in test equipment setup, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting, with a solid understanding of various test instruments and their operating principles. Priority will be given to candidates proficient in the use of power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and digital multimeters. Proficient in reading circuit diagrams, with rich experience in product functional failure analysis, able to use professional tools to locate failure causes and propose effective improvement measures. Proven experience in supplier management, including supplier evaluation, selection, performance monitoring and relationship maintenance, able to effectively coordinate supplier resources to support factory operations Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration to drive problem resolution and process improvement. Have experience of managing CM factories. Have experience in SMT or assembly process maintenance, proficient in process parameter adjustment, defect analysis and process optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on details and continuous improvement. Good communication and coordination skills, able to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers and local partners. Fluent in English (written and spoken) and ability to communicate in Chinese. Having the ability to read and write in Chinese will be preferred. Strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
