As a Python Software Engineer, you will cooperate with interdisciplinary teams in projects and experience how technology and team spirit unite to create innovative solutions. Your job will involve working closely with clients to develop, test, and ship software that meets their needs. You will efficiently and competently solve complex software challenges. Continuous further development and active knowledge exchange mean that you will be working with the latest methods and tools to stay up to date with the latest trends. You will design, build and maintain backend services primarily in Python, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB), including performance tuning. You will contribute to containerised, cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes, support and review CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and DevOps work delivered by partners, and build simple frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js. Working in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, you'll help drive continuous improvement, share your expertise, and mentor others as you shape impactful digital solutions. What's Important to Us You have a degree in computer science or a related field (bachelor's/master's). You value high-quality code and want to improve and share your knowledge of the latest technologies every day. You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the Python stack and a second stack in either Java, .NET or Javascript. You have strong experience in Python backend development (senior level preferred). You have full-stack experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Next.js, HTML and CSS. You have a solid understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred), and Docker. You are familiar with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team. Interest or experience in AI/LLM technologies (e.g. OpenAI, Amazon Q, Gemini) is an advantage. Prior government or GovTech experience is an advantage.
