Lead Trading Specialist

About the role

Join a high-growth, technology-driven quantitative investment firm as a core member of the Global Trading Desk. This is a "Lead" individual contributor role designed for a market veteran who bridges the gap between high-level strategy and real-world market mechanics. You will own the execution framework and spearhead our expansion into new US and APAC markets.

Responsibilities

• Market Rollout: Lead "0-to-1" implementations for new global markets, creating playbooks that minimize operational friction.
• Execution Mastery: Optimize workflows by leveraging deep knowledge of market microstructure, order constraints, and liquidity.
• Broker Relations: Manage global broker onboarding and evaluate execution quality (VWAP/TWAP/POV) across different venues.
• Operational Control: Drive P&L reconciliation, margin management, and stock borrowing (locates) processes.
• Technical Liaison: Use Python to audit trading logic and assist engineering teams in debugging live production issues.
• What You Bring:
• 8+ years of hands-on trading experience in US or APAC markets.
• Deep familiarity with institutional "plumbing": margin frameworks, stock lending, and fee structures.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
