About the role

This position is located within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM), Aerospace Medical Education Division (AAM-400). TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application you possess one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) LEVEL. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience applying medical knowledge and terminology in program management; utilizing medical clinical information databases; reading, interpreting, and summarizing medical information and documents; participating in site visits; identifying problem areas and providing recommendations for improvement. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
