Troubleshoot production challenges and implement timely, effective solutions
Partner with production teams to resolve product and process issues
Own and improve accuracy testing
Operate, troubleshoot, and enhance accuracy test stands
Design and execute product validation and verification testing
Drive continuous improvement
Lead value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) and cost reduction initiatives
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability
Strengthen product quality and process control
Utilize statistical tools (SPC, DOE, Gage R&R) to inform decision-making
Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and procedures
Support engineering and capital projects
Initiate and implement engineering change requests
Develop business cases and support capital equipment investments
Collaborate across teams
Serve as a key partner to R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams
Contribute to new product development as the accuracy testing expert
Ensure operational excellence
Support ISO audits and compliance activities
Identify improvement opportunities and drive them through to implementation
What You Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
Experience with statistical analysis (SPC, DOE, Gage R&R) using tools like Minitab or Excel
Exposure to automation, controls, or manufacturing systems
Familiarity with data systems (e.g., SQL or basic programming) is a plus
Continuous Improvement Mindset
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
Proven ability to identify problems, analyze root cause, and implement solutions
Additional Strengths (Preferred)
Metrology experience
Experience with automated test or manufacturing systems
Spanish language skills
