About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Elmendorf Community Services Flights on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Applications are open to ages 21 and older. Flexible employees have work schedules that depend on the needs of the activity. You may work a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Flexible employees may be subjected to "on call" work in addition to hours posted on the schedule. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have valid driver's license. Must have cash handling and computer experience. Applicant must have experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in activities or programs; and practical knowledge and /or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be 21 years of age or older.
