We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Wireless Site Solution , reporting to the Executive Manager - Fixed Wireless Architecture, to lead the development, standardisation, and delivery of end-to-end site engineering solutions across the Fixed Wireless network footprint. A bit about your role As Manager - Wireless Site Solution, you will: Lead the end-to-end design and engineering of Fixed Wireless site solutions , primarily covering radio access network, transport, power and site infrastructure Define and govern site build standards, specifications and design guidelines for large-scale deployment programs. Ensure consistent, scalable and cost-efficient site solutions across new builds, upgrades and lifecycle programs Provide technical leadership for site engineering decisions , including installation, integration and commissioning practices Drive alignment between architecture, design, build and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery Act as the engineering subject matter expert for site-related queries, escalations and optimisation opportunities Ensure all site solutions support network performance, resilience, safety and regulatory compliance requirements Work closely with vendors and delivery partners to optimise site design, materials, and deployment methodologies In this role, you will work closely with partners and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver solutions that are both technically robust and commercially aligned. You will foster collaboration across diverse workstreams, ensuring large-scale telecommunications programs are delivered with discipline, care and a strong sense of shared purpose. Your leadership will help create an environment where teams feel supported to contribute their best, while delivering outcomes that strengthen connectivity for communities across Australia. A bit about you Strong experience in telecommunications site engineering , including radio access network, transmission and site infrastructure design Deep understanding of Fixed Wireless or mobile network site architecture and deployment models Experience developing site build standards, installation guidelines and engineering specifications Knowledge of site integration, commissioning and acceptance processes Understanding of power systems, environmental constraints, and field deployment realities in wireless networks Familiarity with Element Management Systems and operations integration at site level Proven experience leading large-scale network deployment and expansion programs Ability to bring structure, consistency and efficiency to complex engineering environments Strong capability to balance cost, risk and performance in engineering decisions Ability to translate technical site engineering requirements into business outcomes Strong collaboration across architecture, deployment, operations and vendor teams Clear and confident communication with senior stakeholders and delivery partners Life at nbn To be part of nbn is to be part of something bigger.
