Requirements

• We're looking for motivated professionals who bring:
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar operational environment is desirable, though not essential for this entry-level position
• Experience in deliveries (HR Lic Required)
• Assistance with loading & unloading vehicles as well as moving pallets within the warehouse as required (Forklift Lic Required)
• Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Defence Security Clearance
• Safety Orientation: Committed to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to WHS standards
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to the success of the warehouse operation
• Time Management: Efficiently managing workload and meeting deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
• Attention to Detail: Consistently ensuring accuracy in all aspects of stock management, order fulfillment, and reporting
• The role involves manual handling, lifting, and carrying of materials, so physical fitness is necessary to meet the demands of the job

We're looking for skilled Storeperson to help personnel meet mandatory training compliance and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform their duties nationwide. Based at Palmer Barracks in South Guildford WA , you'll act as a critical bridge supporting the day-to-day operations of specific site for DTL operations. This position provides crucial support to the efficient operation of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade 2 ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance with the Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
