Job Description:Detailed Product studyProduct and component cost estimation - Greenfield & Brownfield (Sales Price, Design to cost (D2C), Nego calculations, RPP etc.)Holistic view on Cost Engg methods and processesTeardown AnalysisTechnical study i.e. manufacturing process, design features, materials etc.Predicting assembly techniques and sequencesProduct comparison & detailed documentationSupplier interactions, vendors discussions Required skills:Knowledge on manufacturing & assembly process (Exposure on one core manufacturing process)- Machining, Forging, Casting etc.Knowledge on Mechanical and Electronics preferrable (Electro-Mechanical)Good Knowledge on Gen-AI and Digitalization tools (Added advantage)Knowledge on tool design and manufacturing (Molds, Casting & Press tool - Added Advantage)Knowledge in GD&T, drawing reading capabilityMeasurement techniques knowledgeProduct development process / cycle understandingExposure to competitor tracking (Added advantage)Product cost structure understandingKnowledge on Microsoft excel, PresentationGood problem solving & analytical capabilitiesIdentify & suggest process improvement ideasGood communication and interpersonal skills BE in Mechanical/ Automotive Engg/ Mechatronics 6 to 8 years
