Registered Nurse (RN) Cancer Center Clinic (FT M-F 8-5)

Requirements

• -Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• -Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
• -Minimum of 1 year of RN Experience
• -Oncology experience preferred
• -Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• -BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire
• -Completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy required within 90 days.

Full Time Days M-F 8am - 5pm The UMC Cancer Center has a Clinic and Infusion Center that provide care to adult and pediatric patients with non-cancerous, hematology and/or oncology conditions. Registered professional nurse who assesses, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy while providing and directing patient care for a group of patients. Relates effectively with other departments for optimal continuity of care.
