About the role
This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Leading or directing federal human capital programs related to accountability, policy development, or strategic human capital planning; AND - Developing HR policies, regulations, or guidance in alignment with laws, Executive Orders, OPM guidance, or agency priorities; AND - Designing strategic planning efforts, such as workforce plans, human capital strategies, performance management frameworks, or organizational transformation initiatives; AND - Establishing or monitoring accountability mechanisms, such as performance metrics, compliance reviews, audit responses, or evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
