Manage, coach, and support the FRM team to deliver compliant, effective access and reimbursement services.
Conduct field ride-alongs to assess performance, ensure the use of AbbVie-approved tools, and provide targeted coaching based on organizational strategic imperatives
Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and Access & Reimbursement Hub to maintain consistent, compliant program execution.
Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training opportunities.
Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate relevant insights to the FRM team.
Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with AbbVie standards and procedures.
Drive professional development for direct reports, providing clear career progression and performance oversight.
Minimum 5 years of experience in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access in neuroscience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, Field Reimbursement Manager or equivalent role
Minimum 3 years of experience leading field teams, successful team coaching, management and personnel development experience
Thorough understanding of the technical payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding and payment for specialty medicines
Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics
Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the Neuroscience space (role of Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors and white-bagging, etc.)
Track record of strong leadership contributions
Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
Valid driver's license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
