Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, you will lead plant operations and process improvement efforts by guiding teams to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets. You will identify and resolve production constraints, ensure resources are aligned to daily plans, and foster an engaged, team oriented workforce that drives continuous improvement and business results. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Lead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost standards Identify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured, team based problem solving efforts to resolve them Monitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintained Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedback Support oversight of sanitation and operations activities to maintain a clean, food safe manufacturing environment Ensure adherence to plant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Promote and support plant and company safety programs and compliance with defined safety requirements Participate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performance Drive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction setting results Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts Ingredients Required for Your Success Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
