Drive market access launch strategy as well as development and execution of payer, pricing, and reimbursement marketing initiatives
Ensure alignment and coordination of market access launch strategies across both commercial and government payers with US Brand/commercial partners
Liaise with Global Value & Access / HEOR teams and US commercial teams to build the payer value narrative, pricing strategy and access messaging tailored to various stakeholders, including government and private payers, health plans, GPOs and PBMs
Collaborate with National/Regional/Trade Account teams and field reimbursement teams to understand field needs; design and execute impactful tactics and training programs
Develop and deliver appropriate pre- and post-launch payer and channel resources (e.g., Disease State education, PIE, Economic Considerations, BIM, PVP and pull-through resources)
Own the regulatory and legal approval (Promotional Review Committee/PRC) of all payer and reimbursement marketing materials
Manage our vendor agencies of record to ensure fulfillment and execution of strategies, projects, and tactics within budget
Lead the annual brand planning process for the market access team
Partner closely with Business Insights & Analytics, HCP Marketing, Patient Marketing, Medical, Advocacy, Global and U.S. Franchise leadership to monitor the progress of the various initiatives and adjust execution plan appropriately
Requirements
Required Skills
BA, BS or equivalent required, MBA preferred
7+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharma industry experience, including direct responsibility for pricing strategy, scenario modeling and launch strategy
Demonstrated understanding of payer market dynamics as it relates to commercialization, pricing, specialty distribution, and overall access for specialty medicines (commercial, Medicare Part D, FFS/Managed Medicaid, and VA/DoD)
Experience in developing tools, tactics and messaging applicable to US payer markets and customers
Strong sense of professionalism, accountability, and urgency for defined areas of responsibility
Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward to meet budgets and timelines
Ability to communicate tactical direction and related concepts clearly, orally and in writing, across internal and external audiences (e.g., payer account team, sales, marketing, advocacy)
Heightened ability to collaborate, influence, and work with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver results
Experience managing multiple demands and priorities on time and under business constraints

The base compensation range for this role is: $171,000.00-$236,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
