This volunteer role combines group co‑facilitation with general administrative support across the service. The volunteer will help create safe, welcoming and inclusive group spaces, while also supporting the wider team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks that help the service run smoothly. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, contributing to recovery‑focused work, and supporting a busy service through practical and organisational support. Tasks may include: Group Co‑Facilitation: Co‑facilitate regular group sessions alongside a Group Worker Welcome people attending groups and help new participants feel settled Support the sharing of group agreements, including confidentiality and respect Encourage participation and inclusive discussion, while respecting individual choice Offer appropriate emotional support within the boundaries of the volunteer role Observe group dynamics and raise any concerns with staff, including safeguarding concerns Support the planning, delivery and review of group sessions with staff With training and support, potentially lead parts of sessions or whole session General Service Admin Support: Provide general administrative support to the service, not limited to group work Support reception‑style or front‑of‑house tasks where appropriate (e.g. welcoming people, signposting, meet and greet in waiting area) Support the team with preparing materials, resources or paperwork Support communication tasks such as preparing information packs Use basic IT systems and databases, in line with training and permissions Carry out other reasonable admin tasks that support the smooth running of the service
