Serve as a point of contact for FF&E and Move Management communications.
Assist the Project Manager in managing the FF&E and Move Management work plans aligned with project scope, schedule, logistics, and client objectives.
Coordinate FF&E and Move Management activities with contractors, vendors, movers and other stakeholders to align installations with construction milestones, site readiness, and occupancy schedules.
Plan and manage move logistics, sequencing, phasing, and relocations in alignment with project objectives and operational requirements.
Identify and mitigate schedule risks, conflicts, and critical path issues.
Attend in-person and virtual meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including inventories, schedules, move plans, action items, and key decisions.
Provide regular written updates regarding project status, risks, schedule impacts, and changes.
Review drawings and specifications for FF&E coordination, constructability, and move logistics planning.
Oversee on-site FF&E installations and move activities, resolving field issues in real time.
Conduct final walkthroughs, manage punch list activities, and complete project closeout documentation, including inventories, warranties, and record documents.
Support the Project Manager with budgeting efforts, cost tracking, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FF&E, Move Management roles.
Strong knowledge of interior construction, furniture systems, procurement processes, workplace environments, and relocation management.
Experience in the full FF&E lifecycle, including programming, specifications, procurement, installation, relocations, and contract administration.
Proficiency in reading construction drawings, conducting field verifications, and performing site surveys.
Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign.
Experience with PMIS software including Procore.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required to work in-office five (5) days per week and travel locally to project sites as required.
Experience working in K-12 environments for FF&E and Move Management projects is highly preferred.
Experience working in higher education, corporate workplace, or government environments is a plus.

Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager - FF&E and Move Management Coordinator supports the FF&E Project Manager and assists with responsibilities assigned for the FF&E and Move Management projects. In collaboration with the Project Manager overseeing moderate- to large-scale assignments from planning through closeout for K-12 projects. This role is responsible for aligning project schedules, budgets, logistics, and operational readiness while coordinating FF&E procurement, installation, and move activities with design, construction, and occupancy requirements.
The position serves as the primary on-site representative and interacts with clients, internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and end users to support efficient project delivery, mitigate risks, and maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
