Responsibilities
Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.

Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
Other Information: Successful completion of a recognized training program in Central Sterile Processing preferred.
