A Day in Your Life at MKS: Principal Responsibilities: - Plan, schedule and monitor material movement through the production cycle - Evaluate vendor reliability and develop solutions in case of material shortages - Monitor cost and consolidate contracts where required to create cost-effective purchasing models - Develop new supply sources where required to keep operations stocked and able to generate the desired output - Actively maintain inventory and collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate stock Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred - 2+ years of related experience Physical Demands & Working Conditions: - Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time - Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [INSERT] pounds - Ability to remain in a stationary position for [INSERT]% of the time - Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand - Must be able to exchange accurate information - The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) - Operates in a professional office and/or manufacturing environment - Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery - Noise level in the work environment is usually average Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
