Support the servicing activities for a portfolio of commercial loans including analyzing and maintaining data and products, such as lines of credit, reimbursements, syndications, and agency loans, for commercial and corporate loans, including special assets and real estate special assets
Prepare loan documentation while supporting a variety of loan processing tasks within a complex loan operations environment
Support:
Interest and commitment fee processing
Deal closings, restructures, and amendments
Booking of borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, payoffs, and commitment reductions
Processing and maintaining collateral and associated insurance
Investigating discrepancies and general ledger reconciliation
Post closing and special asset activities
Help ensure all lending transactions are booked and managed correctly, minimizing operational risks and losses and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and procedures
Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management and support implementation of appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses
Assist with servicing of revolving credit facilities, term loan facilities, collateralized lending obligations, asset securitizations, and asset-based lending
Continue developing a robust understanding of loan procedures and industry standards

EDUCATION
- Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
- Degree in finance, accounting or other relevant field
CERTIFICATIONS
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Experience within a complex financial services environment
- Working knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations
- Exposure to commercial and corporate lending processes
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of:
- Business processes, systems and tools used in the loan process
- Various lending systems (ACBS, AFS, OVS)
- Risk types, policies and control measures and processes
- Applicable laws, rules, regulations and policies
- Reconciliations, budget tracking, and reporting
- Ability to interact with customers, investors/lenders/agent banks
- Experience preparing and reviewing loan documentation
