Lead and manage multi-disciplinary design teams across infrastructure projects
Drive design delivery in Design & Build environments
Interface closely with contractors to ensure constructability and efficient delivery
Drive construction innovation of the infrastructure design works and to improve constructability and design for safety in development of design
Provide guidance to internal teams on contractor expectations (drawings, detailing standards, submission formats, buildability considerations)
Liaise/coordinate with other design team and stakeholders and external design partners
Able to drive and deliver modular construction technology (MIC)
Chartered Engineer (MHKIE / MICE or equivalent) , QP and PE
Strong experience in Infrastructure work, railway, airport, roads
Proven experience in Design & Build project delivery
Deep understanding of contractor workflows and construction methodologies
Proven record
Familiarity with Hong Kong/China or Singapore infrastructure market and regulatory environment
Proven records of strong relationships with contractors
Mandarin speaker is a preferred
Team player

Has worked closely with contractors (either from consultant side with strong site exposure, or ex-contractor design background)
Understands what makes a design practical and executable
Knows which design approaches are "build-friendly" rather than theoretical
Can elevate the team's D&B capability

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to support our growing portfolio of Design & Build (D&B) projects within the Transportation sector (Railway, Aviation, Marine, and Civil & Structural).
This role will bridge the gap between consultant-led design and contractor execution, ensuring that design outputs are practical, buildable, and aligned with contractor methodologies.
The position can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore, depending on the candidate's market experience.
