Bldg Service Worker

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and hospital sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and hospital procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Eves w/ eo wknd & hols; 3p-11p (TEMPORARY)
• Salary Range: $25.134/Hr - $26.461/Hr

Evening Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Key Responsibilities: - Clean and disinfect patient rooms, surgical suites, emergency rooms, and other clinical areas. - Perform terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms following infection control guidelines. - Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas. - Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps containers. - Operate hospital-grade cleaning equipment (e.g., UV disinfection systems, floor scrubbers). - Follow strict protocols for infection prevention, including use of PPE. - Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and spills. - Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate compassion in patient care areas. - Document cleaning activities as required by hospital policy.
