Responds to the needs of various hospital units by performing patient care duties within the health system. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Inspect, thoroughly clean, inventory, and restock the ambulance assigned to him/her and report any deficiencies in any equipment observed Assist in maintaining the building and grounds of assigned quarters in a neat, clean, and orderly manner Respond to calls from an assigned quarters building and change locations when requested by a supervisor or dispatcher Receive and answer calls following the medical protocols and standard operating procedures Promptly corrects any identified deficiencies as defined by department standards, policies, and procedures Ensures all pertinent medical records, patient information, radiographs and transfer authorizations will accompany patient from referring facility to accepting facility Other duties as assigned
