Coordinate and monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Support Project Managers in managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple active aviation projects
Serve as liaison between contractors, consultants, and airport stakeholders (operations, maintenance, security, and other departments)
Attend and contribute to Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, progress meetings, and construction coordination sessions
Review contractor mobilization plans and provide recommendations prior to Notice to Proceed
Maintain and track project schedules, including design reviews, procurement milestones, and construction progress
Support constructability reviews and cost evaluations during pre-construction and active construction phases
Review contractor QA/QC plans, logistics plans, and safety programs for compliance with project and airport standards
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contract requirements, including quality and safety expectations
Assist with change management processes, including scope development and cost review support
Support review of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) components including field costs and general conditions
Coordinate construction inspections, punch walks, and issue resolution activities
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, weekly work plans, and progress tracking logs
Assist with monthly pay application reviews and project reporting requirements
Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience , or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience
Requirements
Experience supporting aviation or airport infrastructure projects , including airfield or terminal construction
Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore , Primavera P6 , Bluebeam , and SharePoint
Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in regulated environments
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, airport safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements
Proficiency with project scheduling tools and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, operational environment
Experience with construction documentation, submittals, RFIs, and QA/QC processes
Exposure to GMP project delivery methods and cost tracking practices
Strong understanding of construction safety programs and field coordination practices
Ability to support multidisciplinary teams across design, construction, and program management functions
