The Weatherization program within Neighborhood Services provides home improvements to low-income households that reduces energy usage and increases energy efficiency of homes. This position will contribute to the City's strategic goals, mission and vision by inspecting housing units for weatherization-related issues, providing appropriate repair recommendations, preparing work estimates, overseeing construction work, and issuing final inspections. Technicians will use computers/tablets and software in the office and in the field to conduct their work. This position is an overage position that will end on June 30, 2028 , based upon federal grant funding.
