The Planner Buyer is responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels, ensuring effective production and material planning. This role coordinates communication between customers, suppliers, and operations to ensure timely material availability and adherence to production schedules. The position supports decision-making through data analysis, performance tracking, and demand control within the manufacturing process. About Your Role: Coordinate and manage communication with customers and suppliers. Plan production and materials based on customer requirements, following established procedures. Share forecasts and future material requirements with suppliers to ensure service levels. Maintain systems updated with the latest customer and supplier information, analyzing potential variations. Monitor and update operational metrics, providing key information for decision-making. Negotiate delivery dates with customers based on supplier lead times. Coordinate with production on special shipment plans and scheduling adjustments. Anticipate material purchases when system anomalies or supply risks are identified.
