Working on a flexible rotating roster of 8-hour shifts between 6:00am and 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday, you will:
- Respond to roadside assistance callouts, delivering prompt and reliable mechanical support
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of vehicle breakdowns
- Perform minor repairs including batteries, tyres, jump-starts and adjustments
- Provide outstanding customer service in high-pressure situations
- Coordinate towing or specialist support where required
- Maintain accurate service records in line with RAC policies
- Start your day from a designated RAC location
Requirements
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic capability
Relevant automotive trade qualification
Motor Vehicle Repairer's Licence (light vehicle)
Current driver's licence with a clean record
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to stay calm and supportive under pressure
