We're looking for a Project Manager Director to join our Financial Crime team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to lead the end-to-end implementation and onboarding of Financial Crime (FC) systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, drive adherence to regulatory requirements, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will leverage your strong project management expertise and deep understanding of financial institution systems to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement of FC initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Establish and manage end-to-end project governance, planning, and execution-from initiation to closure-ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure delivery within time, scope, and budget.
Lead stakeholder coordination across internal teams (compliance, IT, operations) and external partners, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
Oversee system implementation, including configuration, integration, and testing (SIT/UAT), ensuring readiness for production deployment and compliance adherence.
Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and manage vendor governance (e.g., SoW preparation and reviews).
Develop training materials, conduct onboarding sessions, and provide ongoing support and documentation post-implementation.
Drive compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement by ensuring regulatory alignment and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and system capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAMS) is a plus.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on system implementation or compliance projects.
Strong understanding of business processes and systems in insurance, FC regulations, compliance requirements, and FC system functionalities.
Fluent English, very good communication and presentation. Capability to speak other Asian languages (e.g Mandarin/ Cantonese) is a plus
