Job Summary
TYLin is seeking a Water Engineering Designer to join our Water Solutions Team. The Engineering Designer will support project teams and the firm's key regional clients in the design and planning of complex and innovative wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, and water treatment and distribution projects in Alexandria. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the PMs or Client Managers to support various water and wastewater engineering projects and will also provide field investigation and condition assessment support of existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineering design and consulting for complex assignments, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, utility plans, technical specifications, and cost estimating.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the preparation of design and construction documents for wastewater and water treatment facilities, and conveyance and distribution projects.
Participate in assignments as a member of a team, sometimes in a lead role in particular areas of expertise, including peer mentorship of design and consulting staff.
Regular meetings and presentations of project deliverables to clients.
