2-5 years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Experience supporting SIOP or S&OP planning preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail

We are looking for a Materials Planner to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Materials Planning Manager and is based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role .
Role and Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage demand signals within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and validity
Proactively identify and remove invalid, duplicate, or outdated demand signals before they reach buyers
Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust planning parameters accordingly
Maintain planning data accuracy including lead times, order policies, and safety stock levels
Review proposed SIOP plans for material feasibility, identify material risks, constraints, and potential supply gaps and propose revised SIOP plans based on material availability and supply constraints
Project material shortages and proactively communicate risks to operations and purchasing teams
Work closely with buyers to prioritize and expedite critical materials
Develop mitigation plans for potential shortages
Analyze inventory levels to prevent excess and obsolete material & Support inventory optimization initiatives
Review and validate Bills of Materials to ensure accurate demand generation & work with engineering and related teams to resolve BOM discrepancies
Prepare and distribute reports including: Excess & Obsolete (E&O) analysis
Material shortage reports
SIOP risk analysis and planning updates
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and ERP data accuracy and inventory optimization
Support supply chain and operational improvement initiatives
