About the role

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress. Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world - where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run - remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We're changing that. Atoms builds Physical AI: real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive. This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don't just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale. We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life. If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us. This is a high-leverage role at the intersection of talent intelligence, AI tooling, and talent brand. You'll work directly with the Head of Talent to strengthen how we identify, understand, and attract exceptional talent - creating the data, tools, and processes that make our work smarter, faster, and more effective. From mapping talent markets and structuring intelligence to testing AI workflows and improving how our message reaches the right people, this role is designed for someone who enjoys turning ambiguity into structure and insight into action.

Responsibilities

  • Core responsibilities
  • Build, test, and deploy AI tools and workflows that improve how the Talent BD network operates - increasing efficiency, reducing manual work, and creating leverage across the team.
  • Capture, structure, and maintain talent intelligence - mapping senior executive talent pools, conducting company and market research, and surfacing actionable insights on talent movements, trends, and opportunities.
  • Own the data infrastructure behind talent intelligence - building systems and processes that improve how information is captured, organized, and shared across the team.
  • Own reporting and performance tracking - building dashboards, metrics, and frameworks that measure the health and effectiveness of our talent network, talent brand efforts, and key initiatives.
  • Shape and scale talent brand initiatives define channel strategy, testing distribution approaches, and using data to improve how our message reaches and resonates with the right talent.

Requirements

  • Support the planning and execution of bespoke executive events with our leadership team.
  • Obsessed with AI - someone who is constantly testing, trialling, and finding practical ways to use AI to work smarter and create leverage.
  • Highly analytical - comfortable working with data, whether that's capturing and structuring it, drawing insight from it, or building tools and systems that make it more useful.
  • Highly autonomous and adaptable - able to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple inputs, switch context quickly, and drive work forward with strong judgment.
  • Systems-minded - naturally drawn to creating structure, improving workflows, and building repeatable ways of working.
  • Genuinely curious about talent and markets - interested in understanding who the exceptional people are in our industries, where they sit, and what patterns shape talent movement.
  • Plugged in - someone who stays close to industry shifts, company movements, and external signals, bringing an outside-in perspective to their work.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment - we care less about the exact function and more about the quality of your thinking, curiosity, and track record of getting things done.
  • High ownership - someone who takes accountability, follows through, and cares deeply about quality.
  • Why join us
  • Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team - so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
  • What else you need to know
  • This role is based in our San Francisco office. Atoms is a company driven by inventio
