As a Senior/Lead Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for our engineering and AI/ML research roles, building the pipelines and relationships that bring exceptional technical talent to Lila. What You'll Be Building Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering and AI/ML research roles, from intake through close Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of technical talent through proactive sourcing across a range of channels, including professional networks, technical communities, and direct outreach Partner with hiring managers to design effective interview processes and develop role-specific sourcing and closing strategies Develop compelling narratives for technical audiences - communicating why Lila, why now, and why this role - and refine messaging based on market feedback Contribute to the development and adoption of AI-powered recruiting tools and sourcing methodologies that raise the team's overall effectiveness Maintain operational rigor across pipeline tracking, stage hygiene, candidate communications, and reporting What You'll Need to Succeed 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record in highly technical or specialized environments (in-house, agency, or a mix) Demonstrated success recruiting for software engineers and AI/ML research profiles, including research engineers and applied scientists Experience sourcing talent through a range of channels beyond conventional databases, including technical communities and professional networks Strong candidate relationship management skills, with the ability to run a high-touch process across multiple roles simultaneously Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools or a demonstrated appetite for building and adopting new sourcing methodologies High ownership and operational discipline in a fast-moving environment Demonstrated commitment to inclusive hiring practices Genuine curiosity about Lila's mission of accelerating scientific discovery through AI Bonus Points For Experience recruiting for research-heavy or frontier AI organizations, or similarly high-bar technical environments Familiarity with the talent landscape in AI, biotech, or deep tech Experience building community presence or networks within technical talent markets
