Therapeutic Support Specialist - Crisis Center - (PRN)

Responsibilities

• A big part of this role is building real relationships, even with clients who may be hesitant or hard to engage-using compassionate, trauma-informed approaches.
• Your day-to-day
• Build trust with clients through genuine, respectful interactions
• Get to know each person's goals, strengths, and needs to offer personalized support
• Help clients navigate daily life (routines, appointments, relationships, and community activities)
• Lead or participate in activities like life skills, recreation, and wellness groups
• Support personal care and hygiene when needed
• Observe and document client progress and share updates with the care team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and basic program operations
• Provide transportation for clients when required
• (If certified) safely administer medications

Requirements

• Strong people skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of individuals
