Production Reworker Operator Pay: $30.33 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 3pm - 11pm; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Rework Operator is responsible for micro fixing of all butter needs for production requirements. Responsible for all record keeping of lot numbers and an accurate inventory. Assist in relief of other plant personnel. 1. Responsible for supplying bulk butter for all production needs. 2. Responsible to operate the reworker equipment with highest standard of sanitation, quality and safety. 3. Must be able to operate a Forklift (Tow Motor) 4. Needs to maintain a sufficient supply of reworked product to systems to meet production requirements. 5. Must be able to C.I.P./clean all butter and reworker equipment. 6. Must be able to help in production during relief of production personnel. 7. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with production supervisors and co- workers. 8. Must be able to accurately fill out all required paperwork. 9. Must report all safety concerns. 10. Knowledgeable of the union contract, attendance policy, work rules, GMP's, appropriate behavior in the workplace, safety and all other policies/rules set forth by Land O'Lakes. 11. Responsible to adhere to quality system requirements. 12. Performs all job duties in a safe and efficient manner. 13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. 14. In accordance with the contract, depending upon operational requirements, the employee may be expected to work more than eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours in a given work week Required Experience and Skills: - Must be 18 years or older - 1 year or more of work experience in any industry - Basic computer and math skills - Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English - Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot - Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful Preferred Experience: - 1+ year of manufacturing work experience - Machine operation and/or forklift experience Physical Requirements: - Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds - Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements - Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment - Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present About Land O'Lakes, Inc.
