A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Wireless Engineer reporting to Senior Manager Transmission - Wireless A bit about your role The Senior Wireless Engineer plays a key leadership role within the fixed wireless team, driving the design, optimisation, and delivery of the network to meet performance, capacity, and cost targets. The role is responsible for ensuring network designs and projects meet coverage, capacity, and quality standards, while managing capacity planning, network expansion, and change governance. It involves leading optimisation and acceptance activities, supporting continuous improvement, and guiding other engineers through knowledge sharing and technical leadership. The role also requires strong problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and decision-making to ensure efficient delivery and alignment with nbn engineering standards and business objectives. A bit about you The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in wireless network engineering, including design, capacity planning, optimisation, and performance, supported by a solid understanding of network architecture and commercial considerations. They have experience in planning and designing communication networks, managing budgets, and delivering projects effectively. The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills to balance technical, commercial, and operational priorities, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate demonstrates sound engineering judgement, effective communication, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and adherence to organisational policies.
