Job Description: You'll be playing a key-role in translating technical information into easily-understandable language for our memory division: supporting new product development by delivering high-quality documentation. From professional editing for Data Sheets, User's Guides, Application Notes, Errata, Product briefs to Programming specifications or Technical briefs, everything has to be done according to the internal technical documentation process. Your main responsibilities: - Provide desktop publishing of technical publications for memory engineering projects - Accurately edit, proof, format and publish technical documentation - Interface with internal customers on development of technical literature - Maintain and deliver the required documentation in accordance with the project schedule, within tight deadlines - Coordinate and support document control, distribution and the website posting process Requirements/Qualifications: 4+ years experience in writing/editing technical documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Higher education within English/ Journalism/Communication/FILS preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator Ability to assimilate and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner Experience with FrameMaker and SDL Knowledge Center is a plus Proactive approach to identifying documentation gaps and proposing improvements Travel Time: 0% - 25% To all recruitment agencies : Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
