Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively orally and in writing In addition to the above, candidate must possess: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in early childhood, elementary, or secondary education; child and youth development, or special education, or related field which includes a major course of study (24 semester hours) with content directly related to the age group to which assigned, from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university is required AND a minimum of 12 months experience working in group programs with children/youth as well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child growth/youth development. OR A combination of education (at least 24 semester hours) and experience, or additional course work, that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above.
