Which is why the re cru iter responsi b le for identifying , assessing, and advocating for talent is among the most important people in the company. Culinary and food and b everage are the highest-volume disciplines in the B HC portfolio. You will own it entirely, across every non-exempt role and across all properties, from line cook to guest room dining supervisor, from a b arista at the Sorelle mercato to a sommelier at The Crossing. You will not work for one property. You will know every B HC property and concept well enough to place candidates with genuine jud gment . The energy Sorelle requires and the p rec ision The Cooper demands are different things, even when the title is the same. That distinction is yours to understand and yours to protect. This is a pipe li ne role as much as a search role. The work you do b etween open requisitions, the relationships you b uild with cu li nary schools and hospita li ty programs, the candidates you are already talking to b efore the seat opens, is what determines whether B HC moves fast and smart when it needs to, or s tar ts from scratch every time. DUTIES & RESPONSI B I LI TIES: What You'll Do Set and Hold the Standard Evaluate every candidate who enters consideration for a cu li nary or F& B role at B HC. Your assessment carries significant weight in every hiring decision. You will b e expected to provide candid rec ommendations and maintain hiring standards across the portfo li o. Dev elo p a clear point of view on what qua li ty looks li ke at each level and each property, and apply it consistently. Not every role needs the same profile. Every role needs the right one. B e the person hiring manag e r s trust to tell them the truth a b out a candidate, including when the truth is that the profile they asked for is not the profile they need. B uild the Pipe li ne B efore the Req Opens Maintain active sourcing relationships with cu li nary schools, hospita li ty programs, and community organizations. The pipe li ne should b e warm b efore the need is urgent. Know who is coming up in the Charleston cu li nary scene and b eyond. Know which kit che ns are dev elo ping talent and which are losing it . Know what is driving mo b i li ty in this market. B uild a b ench of candidates who already know B HC and think well of it, so that when a seat opens, you are not starting a search from zero. Maintain ongoing outreach activity even when requisition volume is low. Di rec t-source passive candidates through net work ing, referrals, industry events, social platforms, and competitive talent mapping. Create talent communities for future cu li nary and F& B opportunities. Own the Full Candidate Experience Every candidate who interacts with B HC through you forms an impression of the organization. That impression should reflect who we are: discerning, warm, quietly confident, and serious a b out the work .
