Responsibilities

  • What You Need:
  • Required:
  • Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field OR High School Diploma/equivalent with a coding certification
  • 5-7 years of healthcare coding experience (hospital or multi-specialty clinic setting)
  • One of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CCA

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical individual to support coding quality, compliance, and education across our organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices through auditing, reporting, and collaboration with coding, clinical, and revenue cycle teams. What's Available: 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly), Full-time Shift: Monday-Friday, standard business hours Remote eligible (Must reside in WI, IA, or MN) - first day of work must be on-site in La Crosse, WI Department: Clinical Documentation Improvement / Coding Integrity
