As a product manager on our team, you'll define the vision and roadmap for our data platforms and collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and manufacturing experts to transform complex manufacturing problems into powerful tools that drive operational excellence across Apple's global supply chain.
Responsibilities
Work closely with manufacturing teams and stakeholders to deeply understand their daily workflows and identify opportunities to solve their most critical problems
Define and prioritize product roadmaps that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business impact across our platforms
Partner with design and engineering teams to translate requirements into well-scoped features, ensuring alignment on goals and successful delivery
Establish clear success metrics and use data to evaluate product performance, inform decisions, and continuously improve our platforms
Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders across engineering, operations, and leadership
Requirements
Advanced degree in a relevant field
Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics tools, or supply chain systems
Familiarity with data visualization concepts and tools (Tableau, Observable, etc.)
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data manipulation tools (SQL, Python pandas, R, etc.)
Experience in the manufacturing domain
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive product decisions
Strong communication skills and ability to present product strategy and rationale to stakeholders
Experience working collaboratively with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional partners
Experience gathering and synthesizing user feedback to inform product direction
Experience influencing without authority and driving alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders
