Reporting to the Branch Manager, an opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and energetic person to join our busy Truckstops Service Department as our Operations Assistant/Class 5 Truck Driver.
In this position, you'll be focused on picking up and delivering trucks to our customers and sub-contractors, site management for safe vehicle movements and vehicle grooming. You may also provide support in the general duties of the service department as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
hold a Class 5 license with experience driving a range of trucks
ideally have a DG license
have excellent verbal communication skills for face-to-face and phone conversations
understand what fabulous customer service should be and deliver that service every time
have a can-do attitude with the ability to jump in and help the wider team as needed
have a positive attitude, a team mentality, and great sense of humour
This is potentially ideal for an experienced truck driver looking to spend more time at home and work local.
