Job Description Summary Mechanical Design Engineering Intern will be a part of the Clearances Design teams, responsible for the system level clearances activities of cold and hot sections. We are looking to hire a long-term Mechanical Design Engineering intern for up to 11 months, with an initial 6-month period and an optional 5-month extension. Role Overview: Execution of creating FEM, design reviews, and field support for the sustaining engines Work closely with multiple teams to design the system, understand engine behaviors and help hardware owners and Systems for decision process Helping the team with documenting and reporting engineering work The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are proficient in engineering tools like UG NX and ANSYS, have experience in design reviews and test support, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Required Qualifications: Being an undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering etc. either studying 3rd or 4th year Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated skill in utilizing multiple engineering tools, UG NX, ANSYS
