Total Potential Annual Earnings: $60,000 - $350,000 Focused in the P&C space, the Market leaders are responsible for maintaining and growing internal relationships with all regional banking divisions within their assigned community bank region. Market leaders are responsible for regional NBTI communication with our bank partners around prospects, customers, and sponsored community events. Primary production responsibilities will be focused on the Commercial Bank through coordinated cross selling initiatives with the Regional President and the Middle Market Relationship Managers. Market leaders are also responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities with non-banking customers within their assigned region or across regions as a SME. Market Leaders are expected to grow their book of business year over year to meet regional and personal production goals. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience (required) 5+ Years of Successful Insurance sales experience (preferred) Property & Casualty Broker's license and/or Life, Accident, and Health license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire Skills and Abilities: Advanced working knowledge of middle market insurance products and risk management solutions Proven relationship building skills to support business development efforts (internal, external, COI) Proven sales acumen (source, develop strategy, present, and close middle market business accounts) Ability to work with Regional Bank President, regional banking teams, and insurance teams to achieve mutual business development and retention goals Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. Must be self-directed and be able to accomplish work with limited supervision and general work direction. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Agency Management software solutions Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements: Valid Driver License required Tasks Performed: 40% Achieve individual revenue growth goals by prospecting, developing and closing middle market new business opportunities 30% Achieve individual customer retention targets through the successful delivery of risk management advisory services, account cross selling, and general customer service. 15% Work closely with regional banking partners to achieve mutual business development goals. 10% Work with Regional President directly to coordinate mutual business development goals and participation in regional sponsored events 5% All others as assigned.
