You will repair, install, calibrate, test, and clean plant electrical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions, Standing Instructions, and Site Health, Safety, Security, and Environment procedures
Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability, and communicate verbally and in writing to operations employees, supervisors, and others regarding the identification of problems and completion of jobs in their area
Manage plant and electrical equipment upsets, abnormal conditions, and subsequent troubleshooting, including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent follow-up
Assist in the coordination of daily maintenance planning and participate in shutdown and start-up of units
Contribute to keeping process materials records and maintaining good housekeeping practices
Participate in maintenance (electrical) activities
Other duties as assigned
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum of High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an electrician or controls technician in an industrial, military, or manufacturing environment, and have completed (documented) training or certification as a plant electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment is required
Able to read, write, and speak English
Willing to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation

Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Comply with all HSSE regulations, policies, standards, and practices, and actively participate in improving plant safety culture
An automation background, education in, or experience and understanding of industrial automation systems is a plus
The rate for this position is $32.12 per hour. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, and internal equity.
