Locum Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist - West Midlands

Responsibilities

• You will carry out blood grouping, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and issue blood components for transfusion. You will ensure safe transfusion practices and regulatory compliance.
• Qualifications and Experience
• HCPC registration
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory
• Familiarity with LIMS and transfusion analysers - Ortho, BloodTrack and Winpath
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (preferred)
