Objective of the position: Lead all activities of Product and Process Engineering at Reman Mexico (Toluca Plant), including process engineering, product development, equipment allocation (manufacturing), IT supervision and applications development and total equipment and facilities maintenance. Deliver full-reman, Freightliner dashes, multi-brand engineering services and support to AMS (Aftermarket solutions) that meet scope, quality, cost, and timing deliverables as established between Aftermarket DTNA and AMS. Ensures the maximum return of sales and EBIT and secure the compliance with all corporate, governmental, ISO and other financial regulations. Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded): Combustion Engine Systems (Diesel) Remanufacturing or Manufacturing Proficiency Managerial and Operational Experience Engineering and Maintenance IT Knowledge Strategical financial experience English level: C1 Spanish: C1 Soft Skills: Influence and negociation Conflict management Decision making Strategic financial vision Strategic thinking Project management Minimum two years experience in international trade in Mexico Customs, Customs Brokerage firm, or large multi-national business. Academic Knowledge: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, physics, or other hard science area. Main Functions: Provide leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance to the engineering department for existing products and coordinate development and implementation of new launches. Including all products and services provided by Toluca Plant, securing a performance aligned with Toluca's productivity and financial objectives. Develops the annual budget to secure a sustainable growth of the operations for all products and services and works with controlling to secure a correct administration of the budget to satisfy the DTBP and lead initiatives to improve the annual goals. Secure the annual launch of two projects that satisfy the demand of REMAN products in the US, Mexico, and Latin Market. Lead departmental initiatives to secure quality, efficiency, employee effectiveness and satisfaction. Support operations and strategies of the other business units (Reman, Services and Sales), providing on time solutions that help them leverage their performance and productivity. Set and achieve annual goals, aligned with Toluca Plant and AMS strategies. Ensure the engineering department delivers quality designs that meet project and timely requirements. Ensures the Digital Activation principle to archive targets of innovation and usage of technologies that drive sustainable growth. Sharing best practices across AMS and DTNA. Leads continuous improvement to reduce and optimize annual budget and participates and leads activities needed to meet internal and external standards (i.e., ISO, OEA and others).
