Provides Factory Transition Services (FTS) leadership, Support and Mentorship to Sales, Field Service, Service Business Units and Product Marketing for Tool Relocation requirements. Creates and Maintains the Business Processes related to FTS Operations for Kit creation, updating support documentation/BU Master Lists. Supports and/or leads other projects as assigned, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
- Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.
- Effectively assigns work to subordinate staff, providing for professional development in addition to maximum productivity for the area.
- Spearheads research and development of new technologies, as appropriate, and ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas as needed.

- Keep the Consolidated FTS Business Process Manual up to date, through Publication and Internal Service Bulletin Change Notifications
- Maintain and update Master Parts Lists/Bill of Materials for Legacy equipment and New Product Introduction
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise (Field and Product Business Units) to address change requests from customers and Field Service personnel.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Short Notice Kit Expediting for various relocation scenarios, including internal cost data and part sourcing strategies.
