Schedule Monday-Friday and some Saturdays depending on coverage 10:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-8:00pm, 4:00pm-9:00pm, 5:00pm-10:00pm, 6:00pm-11:00pm Pay Rate: $20-$24 (based on experience) What is the opportunity? Foundation Academies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our school campuses. This role plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming and well-maintained environment for scholars, staff, families, and visitors. Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing routine floor care Emptying trash and recycling receptacles and replenishing supplies Maintaining restroom cleanliness and stocking paper products and soap Safely operating custodial equipment and using cleaning chemicals in accordance with established procedures Identifying and reporting maintenance, safety, or facility concerns Assisting with room setups and breakdowns for school events and activities Responding to custodial requests and supporting campus operations as needed Participating in seasonal deep-cleaning projects and special assignments Following all safety protocols and contributing to a positive, professional school environment What do we require from you? High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong time management and organizational skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a school setting Reliable transportation preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds Want to join our FAmily?
