A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Engineering Technician at MKS, you will play an important role in supporting our engineering and service teams. You Will Make an Impact By: - Working alongside engineers to build, test, and improve solutions to technical challenges. - Conducting research, detailed experimental testing, and collecting data to write reports and identify areas for improvement. - Providing expert technical support to engineering, technical support engineering, and global service operations. - Performing operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure quality. - Assisting in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. - Supporting the design, build, test, and check-out of test equipment to ensure accuracy. Skills You Bring: - Associate degree (A.S.) in Engineering Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience. - 4+ years of experience in an Engineering Technician or similar technical role. - Experience assembling and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Preferably vacuum related products. - Proficiency with common hand tools such as soldering irons, drills, and saws. - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and customer service skills Pay Range: Total Base Pay Range $27.89 - 51.79 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
