You will be combining strong problem-solving skills with gained business knowledge in order to meet clients' business and software requirements, tackling technical challenges across the whole projects and programs spectre. This role will develop your knowledge in oil and gas field development planning, upstream economics, optimization and finance. Ideally you will be someone who likes to travel; a willingness to travel at short notice or work remotely for several weeks is a must. Day to day tasks will involve but not be restricted to: - Provide clients with support and training in Palantir suite of software. - Collaborate with the commercial team to develop demo material for Palantir software tools. - Creating integrated analytical and economical models for subsoil, well and subsurface, with financial analyses supported in optimizations and decisions making tools. - Client liaison - Provide exceptional customer service through timely and respectful communication; effective listening; identifying and anticipating needs; and helping customers understand the Palantir software. Essential skills: - Engineering or Software degree with 1 to 5 years' experience. - Development Planning or petroleum economics experience is a plus - Familiarity with SQL or Oracle databases is a plus - Systematic approach to uncertainty management and the ability to work with limited data. - Ability to manage confidential information with appropriate sensitivity. - Ability to communicate both technical and business concepts to a range of audiences. - Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English and Spanish. - Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. - Able to build strong working relationships in a multi-cultural distributed environment. - Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours (Projects and/or On-Call)
