About the role
Under general supervision, assist in various administrative and data collection aspects of clinical research studies as part of the Community Neurotrauma Team in the Department of Neurosurgery's Center for Neurotrauma Research. https://www.mcw.edu/departments/neurosurgery/research/nelson-lab Primary Responsibilities Collect required data from research participants, which might include performing clinical assessments (e.g., interview and questionnaire assessments of symptoms, neuropsychological tests of cognitive functioning) and coding data from patient records and qualitive interviews, and entering onto clinical research forms and into the computerized research database Verify accuracy of bills and stipends Generate survey materials to be sent to study participants and manage incoming survey data. Under the direction of the study coordinator or principal investigator, assist in enrolling patients in educational and social intervention research studies. Review patient medical charts and contact patients to screen for study inclusion/exclusion criteria. Provide general clerical support to thestudy team and investigators Order and maintain log of stipend checks and/or gift certificates to be distributed to study participants.
